People who watch videos which expose terrorist propaganda online (much of which is found at BNI) could face up to 15 years behind bars, Home Secretary Amber Rudd has announced, in a move designed to tighten laws tackling radicalization. How about reading the quran online? There’s hardly a book that matches the quran for incitement to violence and the killing of billions of people who are not believers in Islam. Not to worry, only people who attempt to expose what the quran preaches will go to jail.
Yes, 15 years is what they are considering for anyone who views Islamic jihadist content online. I guess a history of exposing ISIS, al-Qaeda, and other terrorist groups’ methods of dealing with anyone who opposes them – including beheading and torture videos, stoning of women, throwing gays off a roof, etc. – is now considered incitement to hate a religious group in the UK…that carries a 15-year jail sentence.
RT Speaking at the Conservative Party Conference on Tuesday, Rudd said those found guilty of repeatedly viewing extremist material such as bomb-making instructions and far-right propaganda could now face lengthy jail terms.
“I want to make sure those who view despicable terrorist content online including jihadi websites, “far-right “propaganda and bomb-making instructions will face the full force of the law,” Rudd said. The tightening of the law around viewing terrorist material is part of a review of the government’s counterterrorism strategy following the increasing frequency of terrorist attacks in Britain this year.
Is this what she means by “far right” propaganda – posting online the ideas of Muslim extremists like Anjem Choudary?
One of United Kingdom’s most notorious preachers, Anjem Choudary (50) was recently convicted of inviting membership and support for Islamic State. The London-based preacher was arrested in 2014 after years of hate speeches that always stayed “just within the law.” But under these new laws, showing the public what he and many other Muslim extremists advocate would be considered a crime.
In other words, educating yourself about the tactics and goals of Muslim extremists like Choudary is now considered “far-right propaganda” which is a jailable offense. Does that extend to exposing the Muslim Brotherhood’s detailed plan for Islamization of the West?
